This issue seems to be around for quite some time now: 11:06 - The network interface defined is invalid: ppp_1 However qBittorrent needs a restart to be able use the interface. After a few seconds the VPN Client finishes startup and the interface is online. qBittorrent finishes startup before the VPN Client and the IKEv2 virtual interface is not available yet. 11:06 - Could not get GUID of network interface: ppp_1 Specifically qBittorrent and a VPN Client are starting at login. In the end, you should have something like this: Once you’ve got that, you can go back to your QBittorrent container and click start. Also, you should have a ca.crt file and a crl.pem file. Start the network interface previously selected Pick the location that you want to connect to and drop that folder IN the openvpn folder.Shutdown the network interface previously selected On the adapter that contains 'TAP-Windows Adapter V9' in its name, right-click on it, select Rename and enter TorGuard.Select a virtual interface currently available.QBittorrent either tries to bind to the interface until it succeeds or constantly checks for the availability of the interface and then tries to bind. qBittorrent is running > Interface still available but doesn't provide internet connection > No connection > Interface is available and provides an internet connection > qBittorrent does reconnect.qBittorrent is running > Interface becomes unavailable > No connection > Interface is available and provides an internet connection > qBittorrent doesn't reconnect.Interface is available but doesn't provide internet connection > Starting qBittorrent > No connection > Interface provides an internet connection > qBittorrent doesn't (re)connect.Note: Only use this if you’re using QBittorrent with a VPN. This functions like a kill-switch, so if you bind the client to your VPN interface, it will kill peer connections if the VPN fails. Interface is unavailable > Starting qBittorrent > No connection > Interface becomes available and provides an internet connection > qBittorrent doesn't (re)connect QBittorrent has the ability to bind its network connection to a specific network interface (similar to Vuze’s IP-bind feature). If using OpenVPN, the VPN adapter will be labeled TAP or TUN. Next to 'Network Interface select the name of your VPN adapter. qBittorrent finishes startup before the VPN Client and the IKEv2 virtual interface is not available yet. Bind qBittorrent to your VPN interface Simply go to Tools -> Preferences -> Advanced. Specifically qBittorrent and a VPN Client are starting at login. When selecting an currently unavailable interface to bind to, qBittorrent is blocking all connections until a restart of the application although the interface becomes available later.
